Is there a way to make (or fake) compound points?

Hello. I am trying to make a map of projects in which some individual projects have multiple locations. I want to plot these projects as points on this map so I can represent them with symbols (since the area of the map is quite large, so polygons will not be very visible).  What I would like ideally would be to have these symbols act like compound paths, so that if you click on one of the symbols for a given project, all of the other project locations are highlighted. Unfortunately, while we can have compound lines and compound areas, I can't see any way to do this with points. If you have any recommendations to do this, or ideas how to work around the issue, I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

TOGYiN,

Have you looked at using a multipoint geometry type?

Thanks, Robert. I wasn't familiar with multipoint features. Unfortunately, this project is intended for ArcGis Online, which I see doesn't support multipoint features.
