Can anyone tell me is it possible to make a connection to a Access DateBase in ArcMap. If not, is possible to pull the Tables for the Access Database into a GeoDataBase.

It was possible and exceptionally handy do link Access databases.  However, newer versions of ArcGIS have taken away this possibility.

There may be a work around but I have not explored it.

There is a different workaround however.  Create a new personal geodatabase with ArcCatalog.

Then use that database as an Access database and you can load it with tables that you can bring into ArcGIS

Basically just a different way of creating and Access Database.

It always helps if you provide the configuration details (atleast the version of ArcGIS Desktop in this case)

So if I understand this correctly, you are displaying updateable layers in real time from an access database hosted by arcGIS? If so, can I update that database from a mobile client? So I would be adding social events to an Access "calendar" for display on a map...or is this offbase for this product?

Thanks!
