So i am experiencing issues trying to connect attributes from excel to my feature class in arc pro via a join. the two approaches i am using :
a) connecting to the excel sheet and creating a join via common attribute:
All numeric fields join as text which cannot be changed and Pro does not identify the first row in excel as column headers but auto generates field names as Field 1,2 3 and so on
B) Export the excel sheet in to arc pro as a table
Just column headers in the table . no rows get populated.
What different approach can i use to join attributes from excel to my feature class in Pro?
