Can you connect to non-spatial SQL-database table into ArcMap?

When I connect to a certain SQL database using ArcMap I get a total of 3 spatial layers brought in.

However when I connect to the same database with the same credentials using Excel or Power BI I get a large amount of tables instead (non-spatial data).

Is it possible to connect to these tables somehow using ArcMap or Catalog?

Thanks, Rob

Yes, you can, as long as some rules followed by ArcGIS are met.
