I am having an issue that I hope someone can help me with regarding AutoCAD 2013. I have submitted this same issue on the AutoDesk forums, and have not received any helpful replies.
I frequently bring cad data in to my parcel base without any issues if the cad drawing is saved as AutoCAD 2007/2007LT. It is as easy as finding a coincidental point between the cad drawing and my parcel base, making sure the cad drawing is set to that point and copying the linework to the feature class.
There have been 2 cad drawings recently that I am unable to save to 2007 and am forced to save as 2013 which is causing me a ton of grief. Finding what should be a coincidental point, and setting the cad drawing to the coordinates now throws that linework THOUSANDS of miles off point.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you remedy the situation? I know that manually entering the linework is the most obvious answer, but when it comes to thousands of lines it is not the best answer.
