I am trying to add some data from GeoGraphix, I can export the data either as a layer, which will be an ASC File, or as a surface which will be 3 XYZ files, cont.xyz (contours), data.xyz and grid.xyz. I have tried using the conversion>ToRaster>ASCII to Raster tool on the layer file and i get the error that is attached below. I have looked for a way to bring in the xyz files but they wont show up in the catalog window or in the add data window. Does anyone know of any other ways that might work, or why i am getting that error? any help would be greatly appriciated! Thanks!
I'd make sure the header information in your ASCII file is correct, check the tool help for how it needs to be set-up. Otherwise I'm not sure why the tool wouldn't work.
