Map Journal Navigate to Section Links

Is there a way in map journal to integrate the "Navigate to Section" links into a drop down menu?

Hi Timmy,

The only way to create that experience would be to download the app from GitHub and customize the code and host the app yourself.

Here is a customization of Map Journal that incorporates search (as opposed to a drop-down). Would that meet your needs? If so, we could share the code and you could host the app yourself.

Could you also please tell me a little more about the map journal you are thinking about and how the drop-down would help?

This is the Story Map Journal we would like to have a drop-down for.

We have a list of all the sites on the home section. and we have HTML drop-downs for each section at the bottom. Was hoping to condense the long list on the home section.

I have used the navigation link example from Github here and I seem to remember seeing another examples where you can create buttons (with different colors) to achieve the same type of thing, navigation between sections. Can you help in locating this code example? I thought it was on Github but cannot seem to find it. thanks--
