I'm investigating Workforce for potential implementation for an agricultural operation. I understand that Workforce updates an employees location every 60 seconds. Will this position update occur if the employee has the phone in "lock mode" such as in their pocket? Or is it similar to Collector in that it only updates position while the app is open?
Workforce will update your location whether the app is visible; i.e. the app is in the Foreground on your device or in the Background. However, the app does need to be running in order to record a location.
