DataReviewer custom step

Hello,
I have two questions regarding  the WMX SP2,
First question- There are three new custom step objects related to the DataReviewer which are a mystery to me (I can't find any explanations for them): ProductionMappingSteps.CheckInProduct, ProductionMappingSteps.CheckOutProduct, ProductionMappingSteps.IdentifyProduct. I would like to receive an explanation for each one.

The second question is regarding the Blob in the transaction table (field transaction_data). Is there a way to open the Blob and be able to read and understand it?

The steps that you have described are actually Product Library custom steps.  More info on these steps is available in the Product Library Help Documentation.
