Can the tables for the new Workflow Manager Server (not classic) be stored in Oracle or SQL Server outside of the Datastore?

Workflow Manager Server running in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 .

If yes is there documentation on how to do this?   I found the "classic" documentation on how to install to Oracle not in the newest version.

No, they rely on ArcGIS Portals Hosted Server; so they rely on Datastore.

Hi @PeterStevlingson

@DEWright_CA is correct, there is no way to store the system tables of Workflow Manager Server outside of ArcGIS Data Store.

I did want to mention though that all of the data that you would use within a job can be stored in an enterprise geodatabase. So if you have workflows that involve data editing or analysis of some kind, that data doesn't need to reside in Data Store.

Thanks!
