Hi all,

We were using Measurement widget which consists Line, Polygon and XY coordinate measurements. (you can check the attachments) But after Web App Builder Developer Edition upgrade we can not find the XY coordinate measurement section. Line and polygon calculations are highly improved but XY point measurement is lost. How can we re-enable this property? Or is there an alternative solution for point calculations? (Maybe ESRI thought that for point coordinate calculations, we can use Coordinate widget?)

And one more question is, if you look at BEFORE photo, you can see that coordinates can be serviced in different projections. DERECE means DEGREE in Turkish, there you can pick different units. This new measurement widget lacks of this ability. It would be better if ESRI kept this ability.

Thank you in advance!

Burga,

What is happening is you are looking at two different widgets both very similarly named. One is Measure Widget and one is Measurement widget. The one in your after picture is a Custom widget by Tom Measure Widget 2.1 for Web App Builder and the before is the default otb esri measurement widget Measurement widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers

You just need to add the correct one to your project.

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your immediate answer!!!

Yes, there was a misunderstanding, i thought that after the update the measure widget was changed, but appearently our programmers used Tom'a widget (which is really cool).

Adding a point measurement feature to Tom's widget would be great!

Thank you again, i am going to change the widgets as you said.

Bugra,

You can however do a group widget to leverage both functionalities................

Thank you BabatopeBabatope Adebajo,

I didn't know that we are able to do group like this, then we can combine custom widgets!
