share widget shortlink leads to arcgis.com

Hello,

I'm wondering if this is a bug or a feature or if it happens only to me.

The shortlink in the share widget in Web AppBuilder leads to my App but with the general arcgis.com URL instead of my AGOL subscription.

Does anyone experience the same?

Do you find that correct?

I would very much prefer that the resolved URL reflects my subscription.

Strange... I just added the Share Widget and the resulting URL includes the AGOL subscription:

Does your URL work? Is it redirected to your AGOL subscription?

Are you using WAB Dev or built-in? I'm facing the issue with the online built-in, haven't checked yet the Dev version.

The link is redirected to the correct app, but with the URL showing the global arcgis.com without the AGOL subscription.

This is the standard ArcGIS Online versión of WAB.

Annina - If your app is shared as public, the URL will use http://www.arcgis.com instead of your org URL. A related instruction of AGOL FYI: Share items—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

Annina, There is no privilege to check if anonymous access is disabled or not from a pubic app however.

But, then why other (built-in) share links, e.g. the Story Map here http://arcg.is/1YGN6Ep do correctly lead to the subscription URL: http://esri-rw.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/index.html?appid=b9c94764182e46949210f292cad94a47 ? Why does my WAB share widget not work in the same way?
