eLayerList Widget and printing text

Good morning all,
I have found an issue using the eLayerList widget and printing annotation/text.  I am using 3.6 FlexViewer and the 3.6 eLayerList widget along with AGS 10.2.1.  I am using the OTB Print Widget with the TASKURL tag point to a custom Export WebMap Task that I created.  Annotation is not showing up on the prints.  I have switched the TASKURL to the OTB Export WebMap task that is installed with AGS with the same results.
I have found that the text does show up if I use the OTB LayerList widget.  I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this behavior.  I have adjusted our applications to use the OTB LayerList widget along with the eMapSwitcher widget.  This workaround is fine, I was just curious if others have seen this.
Thanks

So did you upgrade overtop of AGS v10.1 instead of uninstalling v10.1 and then installing v10.2 (not sure if this is even possible)?

I know that all the AGS servers I am working with always had previous versions uninstalled, although in most cases we have entirely new servers for different AGS versions to reduce upgrade issues.

We installed 10.2 over the 10.1 install and the 10.2.1 on top of that.  Going from 10.0 to 10.1 we had to uninstall as there were significant changes (no more soc/som accts for 1)
A question for you Michael - if you do a fresh install with each version update, do you use the backup utility to save you a bit of time when you do the upgrade?

Robert,
I am going to leave this thread open until I get 10.2.2 freshly installed on my server and see if that fixes my issue.
Thanks

Eric:

You asked"A question for you Michael - if you do a fresh install with each version update, do you use the backup utility to save you a bit of time when you do the upgrade?"

My organization upgraded from v10.0 to v10.2, bypassing v10.1 entirely, so I don't believe this backup utility would have helped.  I think it might help with our next upgrade, so thank you for this information.

Robert,
Just an FYI.....I did a clean install of AGS 10.2.1 (I did not do 10.2.2 as we have a 3rd party app that does not yet support this)...the clean install resulted in the same printing issue somehow related (at least for my setup) to the eLayerList widget.

I have reverted to the OTB layer list widget and your eMapSwitcher widget in our apps now.

Thanks
Eric
