Facing problems with the published UN service (ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1). We have configured UN Trace and Editing widgets in Experience builder. Once the feature is created, the service got slow and there is no response for few minutes. Also, same issue with UN Trace widget if we run for larger area. Kindly suggest the minimum requirement for Server for hosting UN service so that we can achieve the optimum performance in web application.

Hi @Ram ,

There could be many issues at play here.
With server sizing, there is no magic formula and primarily it will come down to server loading and the type of operations your users are undertaking.

1) Check baseline for server use. If your servers are running at high resource usage most times then you probably need to size them higher.
2) Check Trace configurations to ensure the amount of objects being selected is controlled. Only select objects that you are interested in. Example - exclude electric junctions, etc.
3) Ensure your map in ExB is set up for performance. Ensure scale based visibility are set sensibly on all layers.
4) Check out this blog for best practice when publishing UN services - https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-utility-network-blog/best-practices-publishing-utility-network-...
5) I cannot confirm this but I was told webadaptor in the enterprise environment needs to be 8gb RAM or more because UN is particularly chatty with the service.

Wish you could have included more detail about your setup - cloud hosted vs on-site, RAM sizes?

All the best.
