There is a specific situation in Esri's "Electric Utility Network Foundation" Solution which I don't understand. It seems that two busbar objects are connected to each other, the first one midspan to the second one, without a device or junction at the connection point. Any idea, how that works?

Are they both the same asset group and asset type? IF so they can connect without a junction. I cannot find the ESRI documentation that details this but we have successfully been using the utility network with this feature. I believe when you create a network diagram those nodes appear.

it can be snap without any junction as long as the asset type and asset group do not change.
