Hello!

Is there any functionality from Utility Network diagrams that I can leverage for our wastewater system, which has consistent digitized flow, while we are pending the subnetwork buildout?

The layouts I build never seem to recgonize the most down stream manhole across a set of lines that all flow to it.

We are in UN version 5 and Enterprise 10.9, ArcPro 3.2.2.

Hi, did you try to set up an End Junction with the Set Flag tool ?

This tool is used to manually (or with diagram rules) point a feature on the diagram to tell it is the Sink, and then you can apply a Tree type layout.

@AmyCleare - Would you be able to share a current state picture of the diagram and the changes you want to see? That might help me understand the problem better.

A few things to check would be -

1) I am assuming the manhole is part of the structure network, should check if that is selected before creating the diagram. You can manually select it or use the "include structures" option in the trace.

2) Check if the symbology is transferred correctly to the diagram template.

Example of a trial diagram using the digitized flow. It only shows the ElectricalLines and Devices as there is no structure network that was selected

Hi @AmyCleare

As @PierreloupDucroix suggested above, could you please try the following

1/ Use the Set Root Junction tool to specify the diagram junction you expect to be at the top of your tree layout,

2/ Use the Set End Junction tool to set the down stream manhole.

3/ Apply the Mainline Tree layout.
