As part of the data loading and data migration process, to get Subnetwork Controllers and Subnetworks set up do we load all data > enable toplogy > correct toplogy errors and then start to define the controllers and update subnetwork?

Trying to build a start to end work process, thx

In addition to Vish's recommendations (see previous comment) you can also:

  1. Set your subnetwork controllers (once the network data is loaded) by using the Modify Subnetwork Controller Tool (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/utility-network/set-a-subnetwork-controller.htm)'
  2. Run Validate network topology
  3. Run the Update Subnetwork tool to update the subnetwork name for features in the subnetwork.

If you are using "Asset Package" method to load the data, you can use C_SubnetworkControllers table to load all subnetwork controllers as part of the database setup. And once the topology is enabled, validated and corrected, you can call UpdateSubnetwork tool to build all subnetworks in a tier in one-go. Note that UpdateSubnetwork  is not mandatory to trace etc, it simply persists the subnetwork names in the database.
