I am trying to Apply asset package and I keep getting this error. Have tried multiple times now. Any insights on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks & RegardsAssetPackageError.jpg

What are your parameters?  What is your target GDB type?  Have you tried Asset Package to Geodatabase?

Hi Mike,

param.jpg

I have not tried asset package to GDB . Can you explain further how I can use this and apply to Utility network ?

Thanks & Regards,

I am doing this process in a FIle GDB , created a UN in file GDB and using Apply asset package to this UN.

I am always getting this Domain Network error.

Is there a way to check the difference in the domains of my asset package and UN, so that I can find out what the issue is and fix it ?

Mike's recommendation to run AP2GDB before going through the whole Apply to EGDB is the way to go. We have it as part of our standard process. You catch a lot of stuff running AP2GDB without "polluting" the E-GDB. And then you easily clean up the AP and try again.

This minimal overhead saves a lot of time and headaches. Thank you, Mike,.

Try Asset Package to Geodatabase, it creates a new geodatabase, stages the UN and then applies the asset package.  This will eliminate some variables.

Thank you very much .

Asset Package to Geodatabase worked. But I did get some error.

Its an error for subtypes (Structure Boundary , Water Line, WaterDevice_1_Fields-Subtypes-CV.xml:1195)

Just trying to figure out the subtype fields and the difference in schema.

I would try this
Start a brand new ArcGIS Pro sessions

Do not add any maps

Run the Asset Package to Geodatabase
