Survey123 - Survey stuck in outbox

Hi,

I have a survey created in Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS ver 2.6.4 and published to portal.

The survey is in use on and Apple iPad Air2 IOS 11.2.5

When we try to send the survey it sits in the outbox with the attached message as per screen grab.

I am also attaching the survey xlsx.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Marguerite,

The form has several text questions that are used as comments- they are getting submitted and some of them are larger then the default field length (255 characters).  You should either:

  1. Set these to either note questions and move the text to the label or hint
  2. Set the bind::Esri:FieldType column to null to prevent the comment from submitting
  3. Increase the fieldLength of these questions to ensure the entire message is submitted
