Survey focus doesn't change on add repeat

I've got a private survey for hazard trees that uses a repeat for each tree in the survey. The number of questions in the repeat is long enough that the first question (in the repeat) is not visible in the app when the user gets to the end. When the user clicks the 'plus' to initiate another repeat, the focus in the app stays at the end of the list of repeat questions as opposed to starting back at the beginning like I would assume it would. I can't seem to locate any info on changing this behavior. Am I missing something?
