Hi. I have survey responses to the same questions over different years. I want to know how I can analyse this data to show changes over time to the responses. The survey in question is one about grassland condition. So, for example, the survey is repeated each year and I want to be able to see how the condition has changed year on year. How do I do this in the analyse or data tabs? I am new to Survey123, so if you can be clear and simple in the explanation, that would be fantastic!

Thanks

Andrew

The data and analyze tabs on the Survey123 website are a great way to get a quick snapshot of your survey responses. To really explore your response data, view trends, and interact with the data you should use ArcGIS Dashboards with your survey data.

There are quite a few different ways you can view trends over time in dashboards:

  • Serial charts can display survey response values using time as the X-Axis
  • Serial charts can aggregate survey response values by year
  • Indicators can show % change of a value between years

Here are some dashboard tutorials to get you started with ArcGIS Dashboards: Try ArcGIS Dashboards
