Autopopulate in Enterprise Survey123 Causing Login Prompt
Hi ESRI Community!
My organization is building a survey123 using web designer in Enterprise 10.9.1, which is shared publicly so that our users must only be on network to submit to the survey. We have the results and hosted feature layers configured appropriately so that our results are hidden to all except a select few people in our organization, following the below documentation.

We have a question in this new survey that uses a calculation to pull its data from a layer in our Portal, which is shared publicly. The problem is that this auto population is causing a Portal login prompt, despite the public configuration, like I mentioned before.
When I remove the calculation from this question, there is no more login prompt. Does anyone know why this may be the case, or have any advice how to fix the issue? Any help is appreciated, thank you!
