Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on a set of StoryMaps that are grouped together as a collection.
Within the text of each StoryMap, I often need to link to other StoryMaps in the collection—or even to specific sections within them. Linking to the top-level of another StoryMap works fine and keeps the user within the collection view. For example, the URL looks like this:
https://storymaps.arcgis.com/collections/xyz?item=1
However, when I try to link to a specific section within another StoryMap, the link changes to a direct StoryMap URL like this:
https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/xyz
This causes the user to exit the collection view, which isn't ideal since the StoryMaps are meant to be experienced together as a cohesive set.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Is there a way to link to specific sections within a StoryMap while staying inside the collection view? I'm wondering if there's a setting I might have missed, or if this functionality just isn't supported at the moment.
Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
Tom
