Allow Story Map Tour with a Feature Service (Non-Hosted)

I want to be able to host a feature service but create a Story Map Tour with this data. Right now, it appears I can only use a hosted feature service, a CSV file, or upload pictures from Picasa or Flickr. I already have the feature service created on our server and I thought I could simply create a Story Map Tour, but no, this template only can be used with a hosted feature service. Please allow me to link directly to my feature service!

The classic Esri Story Maps templates are in extended support (read more) and are no longer being updated with new capabilities and features. We recommend using ArcGIS StoryMaps for all storytelling projects.

If your idea is not implemented in ArcGIS StoryMaps and you would like to request it be considered for a future release, please submit a new idea with the details of your request and how it would be useful to you and your organization.
