Hi there,
We have a user that is trying to process a series of drone captured images. All images were captured by the same drone platform.
He is getting an error when trying to add some of the folders of imagery to the project:
The user is able to:
but then the user hits finish and gets the above error.
Any help would be appreciated,
Marc
Through a process of elimination I have narrowed it down to a single image. This image is able to be added to a capture session by itself when it is alone in a folder, but if I try and add it to a capture session with any amount of other images it caused the error above.
The image appears to be no different to any of the other images.
Hi @Marc_Graham,
It would be best if you or your user could open a ticket with our Technical Support team so that we can look at your exact data to provide recommendations and document the necessary information for our development team is any adjustments are needed in the software.
HI Nico, I have done this, thanks.
As a note for anyone else: ArcGIS Reality extension for ArcGIS Pro handles this much more gracefully - it just ignores the image that is causing issues in Reality Studio. In this screenshot you can see the highlighted image footprints, and the Object ID 196 that is missing likely correlates to the filename of the image that is giving Reality Studio issues.
Further update, it appears that incorrect georeferencing of some of the drone images was enough to break adding the images to the capture session. It is like if there was enough distance between the images as they were added that was what caused the error to appear.
