"The following items are not shared with project users"

When trying to save a QC project I'm prompted with "the following items are not shared with project users". However, all the layers and content has been shared with both organization and groups. Although, I fail to see the problem since I'm the creator and owner of all the content involved. Pushing the "Share items" button doesn't work and updating the layers sharing properties manually doesn't affect the error.
