Hello, we're still having troubles with quick capture. It sometimes sends duplicate values within 2-3 seconds. It just captures one incident twice, with completely same values, but created_date differs by 2-3 sec (user sends it from device just once). Does anyone know what can it be caused by? Thanks for your help.  Jane

Hi Kathy,

To clarify this second issue, can you confirm how they are submitting the data. Are they waiting for auto-send to kick in (in the project page), or are they manually sending from the map?

Thanks

John

Finding the same problem here. Manual count 667 trees, QuickCapture showed 813 points !!! What's going on? My team is giving up on QC for lack of accuracy.

Also working offline, syncing at the end of the day via wi-fi. Using Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 Enterprise Edition. Team reports that it appears to happen after it syncs. Before the count is good, after syncing, more points show up in the hosted feature layer than manually counted. And that's happening every time consistently.

Hello, I belive we are experiencing the same issue. We have two points in the exact same location, same inputs but one is missing a photo.

I found a way to solve this issue. Using the Delete Identical (Data Management) tool in a Python script that will run every hour and clean the hosted feature of duplicates is working for us.

PS: Make sure you pick SHAPE field to check for overlapping duplicate points.

Nevertheless, it's a bug in the quickcapture app or its data transmission process from offline /online to a hosted feature layer
