Hi friends,

I have a problem:

1. I have an already shared feature service that it is in use to show some web maps and graphics.

2. I need to add new fields to create new maps.

3. I already sign in in my ArcGis Pro.

4. The feature service is loaded in the arcgis pro workspace.example_add.GIF

5. In the image you can see that the add field option is disabled, and editing is disabled.

I've seen that many times. And, yes, I've saved and saved and had no luck. Would be great to know what's going on underneath the hood, but that's probably a lot lot lot easier said than done.

Do you have any clue about what could I do to add the field? I have full permissions.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

What is the data source of the feature service (e.g. enterprise geodatabase, file geodatabase, other)?

It is a geodatabase, I have all permissions to update or modify.

You probably figured this out by now, but, for me, what I do is: I save the project, hit the upper-left-most button (the new project button) in arcpro, start a new dummy project, then immediatly go to 'Project', 'Open', and then select the project i just saved. for some reason, this always jigs the project into submission.
