Hi. Is there a tool that will give you an output of a view from a point to specific angles on the horizon? I want to create a layer that displays almost like a triangle- going from one point (observer) to 237-306 degrees on the horizon.
That's similar to what's known as a Viewshed, which you can do in Pro with the right license, or in ArcGIS Online.
Note that in Pro, you'll need your own elevation layer for this.
Once you have the output viewshed, you could easily create a wedge feature from the viewpoint to clip/mask the output to only show the angle you're interested in.
Viewshed (Spatial Analyst)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
but you'd need to set the parameters as shown here Using Viewshed and Observer Points for visibility analysis—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation section - 'Controlling the visibility analysis'
If you're looking for a true interactive experience, I'd use the Interactive viewshed from the Exploratory Analysis tools in ArcGIS Pro. With this tool you can set it from the perspective of the observer, from the camera, along a line and more!
