Hello,

Is "Only place label inside polygon" honored in Vector Tiles?  I would like to make sure that labels do not cross parcel boundaries.

Note:  I tried using Standard and Maplex label engine.

From what I've learned in the ArcGIS Pro Help document on this item, it does not appear that "only place inside polygon" is supported with vector tiles.  When you go to the link above, scroll down to polygon.  It mentions that only curved, horizontal, straight and river placements are supported with vector tiles.

Robert,

Thank you for your reply.  I just wanted to make sure that I was not missing anything.

I did notice that Yellowstone National Park on the left side of the navigation map displays a label while the much smaller Badlands National Park on the right does not at this particular zoom level.  The label for the much smaller Wind Cave National Park does not appear until we zoom way into the map.  I wonder if the labels are drawn using "Area" or something else as a definition query.

Thanks!

  Perhaps this particular basemap
