Hello! I'm an environmental consultant who uses ArcGIS Pro on the side - my knowledge is limited to what I do repeatedly. I have a new task where I want to make a few different layouts presenting data on my map differently. I added a new layout from a template I have, added a map wire and modified the map within my Layout's Content Pane. Then I went back to my Map tab, and all the changes I made within the Layout Tab are reflected in the Map. The layout is just different labels and different layers shown. How can I make a layout that doesn't change it's label/layers/symbols when I change my map or vice versa?

Currently there is no way to do this other than creating multiple copies of the Map View for different layouts. There is an enhancement request - ENH000151832 - "Add ability to freeze a map frame and map-based cartographic elements when there are several map frames accessing data from one map." to have this type of workflow.
