Multiband thematic raster lacks symbology options in ArcPro

I have a tiff which contains six  integer bands, each representing a different landcover date.

When I load it in ArcPro, the only options for Symbology are RGB (3 bands), Stretch (one band), or Vector. None of these make sense for my data. There is no option for Unique Values for a single band. In the Catalog Pane, Properties, I made sure source type was Thematic, but this changed nothing. 

In ArcMap, there was an option to load an individual band from a multiband raster, but this functionality seems to be completely lacking in ArcPro. In ArcPro Catalog, it doesn't even show that there are multiple bands. 

Am I missing something?

I either add the whole raster and toggle on/off the layers as needed, or more simply add one layer at a time (see above)

It works.. but its quite a step back in simplicity..
