Hey there, I am on ArcPro 3.5.2 with the 3.5.4 patch.
While in ArcPro, often when I hit Control (Ctrl) the map will start rotating with no end. I can usually get it to stop by hitting escape. then I need to reorient the map with the navigator tool. However as soon as I hit Ctrl again it starts all over. It is very frustrating! Is anyone else experiencing this? If so is it a bug? Is there a solution to it? I have closed and opened many times.
Much thanks,
Dylan
Heya,
Yellow pointing had cursor is just something I set as computer default under accessibility (helps me find the cursor easier).
Data is 2D
Sticky keys is turned off
I just experienced the same issue today. Pro 3.4.0. Happened when after I'd been working for an hour. I tried to zoom into an area using Shift-mouse combination (which I had already used a couple times this session). As soon as I pressed Shift key it started to spin. If I hold Shift key down, it spins slowly. Release the Shift key and it spins fast. After reading this post, I tried a few other keys and found it also happened when I pressed CTRL or NumLock or a few other keys. Mysteriously stopped doing it when I switched to the "Help" or "Project" menu then back to map menu (not sure which one did the trick as I didn't try it while on the other menus). Sticky keys are off, and I verified keyboard shortcuts have not changed.
I am facing the same problem! ArcGIS Pro version 3.6.2
Hi all, I know this was from a while ago but I am having this same issue, but it happens when I press any keyboard key at all (even Windows). The map will begin to spin, kind of jittery-like, and the refresh icon will not stop spinning. At this point I am prevented from panning, but pressing ESC will stop the refresh icon and allow me click on tabs in the task bar. Still, even at that point I am unable to pan with the mouse or keys, though I am able to turn layers on and off. Opening a different project allows me to use the display again until I press any keyboard shortcut. It is super frustrating.
