Hi,
I have a toolbox(.tbx) containing a python script tool which has a featureset as one of the inputs. I have set the schema for this featureset in Desktop and I am able to interactively create features on the map while running the script tool.
How do I do this in ArcGIS Pro?
When I open the same script tool in ArcGIS Pro, it does not show me the option to create features interactively. It asks me to browse to a layer!
I was looking at Pro documentation and stumbled on this.
It clearly says that you can create features interactively in "ArcMap" in Pro documentation, but there is no mention of it that you cannot do this in Pro.

Does this mean its not supported in Pro?
This is not yet supported in ArcGIS Pro. Notice in the https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/arcgis-pro/blog/2017/03/05/arcgis-pro-roadmap?... that "Interactive input for analysis" is listed as coming in the future. This would be feature set functionality.
If it’s not available, then why is it already included in the documentation and why is it available as a script parameter data type?

I'm checking on this, Sean. It could just be a documentation issue. I'll follow up when I hear back from the team.
Sean, Pro 2.0 will be a first release of interactive input and we will keep building on the 2.0 functionality in future releases. If you're interested in getting a jumpstart and testing Pro 2.0 beta, you can go here: ArcGIS Pro 2.0 Beta Coming Soon! | ArcGIS Blog
Hi Anand,
Did you ever get this resolved? I too am struggling with this and getting the same results as you. The Arcpy documentation for Pro indicates that you should be able to interactively create data using a feature set.

Can anyone ESRI provide some clarification?
