I downloaded some JPG picture from NASA visible earth, they seems like all equorectangular projection, is there any way in Arcgis pro to use other projection such as polar view projection?

You will have to identify it's current coordinate system first. It might be in latitude-longitude which ends up displayed similar to a Plate Carree projection. Is it georeferenced? That is, what is the jpg's extent?

Once the coordinate system and/or georeferencing is fixed, you can project on-the-fly or use the Project Raster tool.

Hi,

Thank you very much for reply. I checked the projection of the Jpg, it is Plate

Carree projection. Using the project raster tool, I can change it to "World

from space", but it is change the way I want. What I want is to change the

flat picture into a globe view like real. I must miss something, can you

help me out? Thanks again!!
