Hosted feature layer added to ArcGIS Pro from ArcGIS Online (data is collected/updated via Field Maps) is not updating, even after refreshing portal connection in ArcGIS Pro. I can view the data directly in a browser via web map or viewing the Data tab in portal, but the updates do not show in ArcGIS Pro. The only way to see the updates in ArcGIS Pro is to open a new instance of Pro and add the data from portal. Why isn't the data updating in the existing ArcGIS Pro instance?

Pro's cache settings can sometimes lead to you seeing old data in there. The default setting is to maintain the cache until the program closes, which is why you see the new data after re-opening the program.

Go into your layer's settings and either turn off caching, or periodically clear the cache manually.
