Feature class symbology not showing multiple colors in legend

Hello,

 

I am trying to get a feature class that has been symbolized as two solid stroke layers to show both colors on the legend but it is only showing the top stroke layer:

Dark red and pink colors when editing on the map:

Legend only shows the top layer (pink in this case):

Hi @JacobGeisler 

It looks like you are running into BUG-000181135.

Interesting. Can you show a screenshot of how you've setup the symbol that isn't working properly? I just tested (using version 3.5.3) and it seems to have worked fine.

I just tried doing this in ArcGIS Pro 3.6.1, using the same method as Lindsay in their response above. The line shows the correct symbology in the map and in the contents pane, but it only shows the top stroke layer in the layout legend.

Thank you all for the help.  I actually got both colors to show but the lighter color was completely surrounding the darker color in the legend which was not the intent.  I played around with offset too but as Tom mentioned there is a BUG that will hopefully be fixed in 3.7.
