Can anyone direct me to a basemap of Ireland which doesn't have the Northern Ireland border?

I am mapping historical locations in Ireland in the medieval period for my PhD thesis and specifically mapping locations around the modern counties of Fermanagh and Cavan, so the country border in most basemaps is starting to become an issue. I have been using a simple line basemap but haven't been able to find an Ireland specific basemap or a projection which does not include the country border 😕 Unfortunately I still require modern county borders, it's just that most basemaps I've tried to use have a thicker line which makes some of my plots more difficult to see and it's just not relevant to 14th century Ireland! If I'm just stupid or this doesn't exist at all, that's fine too. Just, my knowledge of ArcGIS is very simple and mostly learned in lockdown so there's no harm in asking for help!

You could try using the Vector Tile Style Editor https://www.arcgis.com/apps/vtseditor/en/#/styles to edit the style of the basemap and make the Country border look like the County border

In edit mode...  if it is a polyline, you could just select and delete the line IF the data are in vector format

If the data were in polygon form, you could union the polygons.

If the basemap map is raster, then things could be more difficult.

Carmel, thank you so much, I had no idea this tool existed, I managed to just delete the country border line completely using that.
