I am trying to extrude multiple polygon features. For some reason when I have curves along an edge the polygon, it does not extrude to the same height as polygons with straight edges.
Is there some reason that they are displaying different? Is there a way to get them to display the same way as the other polygons?
Extrude height is calculated by a field and I am using Absolute Height as the Extrusion type.
Here are the polygons I am having issues with.
Its hard to see but this image is the transition from straight edges to Curved:
The elevation between the two are only a few inches but are extruded differently.
Here is another transition between Curved and straight edges:
Are they true curves? ie circular arcs? It is almost like you have too many vertices and simplifying a sample might be a good test
Dan Patterson Yes they are true curves.
I just tried running simplify polygons. Here is the result after extruding. Its like this section is not extruded.
looks like simplify oversimplifies

I tried the workaround in one of the links you posted and it does not seem to do the trick.
bug? or geometry? or something else.
If it works for simple PolygonZ and not for ones with curves, Tech Support away.
