A client uses ArcGIS Pro 2.9.1 and Layouts. He can place Text Elements in the Layout, he can edit the Text in the "Format Text Pane". BUT - if he doubleclick the text element for directly editing the text, ArcGIS Pro will immideately crash. It happens in every project, also small ones aka "one Map, one Layout" types of projects where the Layout has no other elements than a Map Frame prior to inserting a Text.
Fellow colleges at his place experience same - but I do not at my location 😕
