Create keyboard shortcuts for Length and Width in ArcGIS Pro
Keyboard shortcuts for editing—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
The first link above shows the functionality for creating a feature rectangle in ArcMap.
The second link show this lack of functionality in ArcGIS Pro.
Also in... ArcGIS Pro the sides of a rectangle are labeled "Width" and "Height". In 2 dimensions the sides of a rectangle should be labeled "Length" and "Width". Height would be added for 3 dimensions.
How is this functionality missing and why is the labeling incorrect? It is hard to state how incompetent ESRI looks.
Please add shortcuts for width and length (not HEIGHT). The extra right-clicking is really annoying.
Implemented in ArcGIS Pro 2.8.
See Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 2.8 - Esri Community and (2:48) in the video.
