I'm in the middle of re-learning how to do my core job again in Pro and while it's been okay-sailing so far, when I get to aligning parcels drawn from metes and bounds descriptions the connection line doesn't line up. Is this expected behavior or am I doing something wrong?

My workflow is as follows:

Create new record with deed recording number

Select "Traverse" from the tools menu

Enter metes and bounds on the traverse grid

Tap Create Seeds

On the Record Menu, I choose select features in active record .

I open Align Parcels and add new links for all my lines and parcels

Tap "Align" and everything looks okay except for the connection lines.

Attached are screenshots that are sequentially numbered. Please help, I've been looking through the documentation and videos but it looks like no one involved with this has worked an example using a point of commencement to a point of beginning.

Hello Anna,

With ArcGIS Pro 2.7 any points that move will also move any feature that is connected to it including connection lines.

We will probably show it in the next meetup event: https://www.meetup.com/Esri-Parcel-Fabric-Meet-Up/events/273744780/

Hi Anna

I tested this workflow in 2.7 and as Amir said -  any parcel features such as points and connection lines that are connected to the selected parcel being aligned will move. But other connection lines and points that are connected to the first connection line wont move - see attached graphic. You will need to use the Align Features tool to align theses connection lines (you can also use Align Features in 2.6).

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/parcel-editing/alignmentmethods.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_92A57E...

Note that parcel points wont be merged using this tool, so you can use the Merge Points tool - (available in 2.7) to merge parcel points.

Cool. I guess I'll just have to wait until 2.7 comes out to start actually working in it.

Thank yall both!
