I want to copy points/lines from one layer to another.
It would be great to append them, but it seems I have to export/download them as shapefiles first... and that is renaming my fields to "ESRIGNSS_1" (replacing the 1 with a random letter or number, regardless of what the fields were originally named)
I wouldn't even mind doing them one by one at this point, so long as I can keep the data... also the fields all have different names between the source layer and target layer.
Am I even barking up the right tree?
EDIT: I should note that I want to add them to the target layer, without creating a new layer
