Web Map Smart Form Not Showing Existing Data

We have noticed a possible bug with using Smart Forms in the Web Map viewer. Radio Buttons seem to not be populating with existing data when opening a form in the web map, where it works as expected in Field Maps. If the form is submitted without clicking one of the radio buttons, it keeps the data, so it seems to be a display issue, no data is actually being lost.

See the Drainage System Field below -

We can see the existing data in the pop-up:

The radio button is seemingly not populated:

And if we change the field type to a combo-box the existing data is now visible:

Apparently this is a known bug and the workaround for now is to just use combo boxes.

Hi @jtmouw_NCDOT

thanks for reporting this.

  • Can you confirm if you are still seeing the issue today?
  • Are you editing an ArcGIS Online hosted feature service?
  • Would you be able to share a link to the map? You can DM me/ add me to a group if you need to keep the map private.

Thanks! Emily

  • Yes, i can replicate it still
  • These are AGOL Hosted Services
  • I will create a new map, since I can replicate it with every service I have tried so far, and message you to add you to a group it is shared with.
