I adjusted the visibility range of a layer in ArcGIS online (in both the New Map Viewer and Map Viewer Classic), however, the layer only shows in the original scale and not in the scale range set in the map viewer. I suspect the issue has something to do with the high level of detail of the shapefile layer (it depicts the freehold mineral ownership in a province). I also created a hosted feature layer of this shapefile but encountered the same issue.
Does anyone know a workaround?
