Hi all,

I made two storymaps:

Series format, with tabs (https://uni-utrecht.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=34deede005864205b2ef32196f9b865d...)

Journal format (https://uni-utrecht.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=34deede005864205b2ef32196f9b865d...

The two storymaps have the same content (except for the introduction in the journal format). I included actions to show another map layer. The actions have exactly the same settings. In the action menu, I put the "location" on "map standard" in both storymaps. However..... when you zoom in the storymap with the series format and click on an action, the map goes back to the default extent. When you the same with the storymap with the journal format, the zoom level is not changed.

Does anyone know about how to solve the problem? I want to use the series format, but I want the maps not to go back to the map extent every time you click on an action.

Regards, Tim

@TimFavier Did you figure this out? It seems to be working okay for me.

Dear Waffle_House, Do you have a storymap series format?

@TimFavier On your series story map, when I zoom in and click the tabs at the top to change the layers the zoom level is maintained.

What browser are you using?

I use Chrome. And then the zoom level is not maintained. Which browser do you use?
