Hi All,
In WebApp Builder, end users could set the visibility range using a slider in the 'Layer List' widget (See Below).
Have they done away with this option in Experience Builder's 'Map Layers' widget? Or am I just missing it?
If it has been taken away, I would love if someone from ESRI could explain why. That was a very useful functionality that allowed a lot of flexibility for the end user of the application.
Thanks!
Hello @leofremonti92 , this community post seems to be discussing the same question.
In Summary: If you set the visibility range in the web Map Viewer, it will be respected within Experience Builder. But if you want the end user to be able to adjust visibility, you will need a custom widget.
This needs to be added. Creating a whole new widget to handle this functionality doesn't really make sense, this needs to be ported over.
I agree that it needs to be ported over to Exp Builder. I just conducted training on our new EB apps that I ported over from WAB. As fate would have it, less than a week later (today), a user drew a polygon in our old WAB version and the aerial photos were outside of the visibility range. She then adjusted them within the layer list and it worked as intended. Our brand new version built with Experience Builder wouldn't have worked for her in this case. 😞 Please add this functionality if at all possible. Thanks!
Agreed. This functionality needs to be added.
