Hi,
I have created a Hub site with a few sub-pages showcasing our open data content. I would like this Hub site to be the first point of entry for users accessing our content in ArcGIS online.
Is it possible to replace our current home page with this Hub site?
The home page editor only lets me edit customisable building blocks, but I cannot find a way to reference a Hub site.
Many Thanks in advance!
Hi @Sveouu
I can't answer your question exactly, but I can share our experience of doing something similar in case it is useful:
We wanted to do this, so got our IT department to create a shortcut tile within our SAML interface that goes to our (internal) Hub site. The user still authenticates via SAML, then clicks on a tile that says "ArcGIS Online", but instead of the default homepage of ArcGIS Online, the shortcut actually redirects them to the front page of the Hub. They are still able to return to the normal ArcGIS Online interface, by clicking on a link within the Hub.
Not sure if that same pattern would apply to your use-case.
Thank you @dcallaghan !
That sounds like a suitable workaround if it is not directly possible to replace the homepage with the Hub Site.
I'll get in touch with our IT team to see if they are happy to implement it.
