Maps not appearing in different browser

I started a new story map in ArcGIS Online, but had trouble getting a zipped shapefile to upload.  One suggestion was to try a different browser.

Ok, seems simple enough.  However, when I attempt to access that map in Chrome instead of IE, the map I previously started and saved isn't there- I only have the option of starting a new map.  I also do not see a test map I created a little while ago, but I do see that in IE.

I'm using the same account and password both times, so I would expect that I would connect with the same folder(s) online, regardless of what browser I use.  Is that not the case?

you can confirm that you save the project in IE, close it out completely. then open Chrome and the saved project is not there using the same login credentials?

try refreshing the chrome after saving the project and closing it out.
