Hello - I crated a Web Map with editable feature layers. I want to create forms for users to create new or edit existing features. I organized my fields in the form and when finished, Map View freezes and won't let me save, cancel, or even exit using the X at the upper right of the form page. What is going on?
Thank you!

I have the React Developer Tools extension installed on Firefox and Chrome. When I disable that extension, I can save the form in both browsers.
I have run into this same problem also, getting errors in the console when opening the form.
I opened a case with Esri on this issue and during testing, found that this occurred in Chrome and Firefox, but I could save the form in Edge.
I created a sample feature layer to share with Esri. I couldn't save the form for this layer, but the support technician could on her end, so I'll have to find out if others in my organization are running into this.
I'm not able to reproduce the problem. I am able to create and save forms in Map Viewer, but if you can share the map I can take a look.
I wonder if there are some specific configurations that trigger the problem. Could you try just adding 1 field to the form and see if you can save?
@KenBuja do you have a bug number for tracking?
Thanks! Emily
I don't have a bug number, just a case number (#03950934).
Hi Ken, I tried to find the case number, but no results were found. Can you check the case number again?
That is the correct case number
This is xyzxy from Esri Support Services writing to you in regard to case #03950934- "Cannot configure forms for attribute editing".
Here is a link to my map. https://vims-wm.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=813d19443223460abbc684085882cf4e
Thanks for sharing your map! There must be something going on but unfortunately, I still can't reproduce the issue. I'm able to make changes to forms in this map successfully.
I recommend reaching out to tech support so they can help troubleshoot the issue. They may be able to attach your case to the previous one mentioned if you can provide the Case number.
Best, Emily
Does it matter that I created the forms in Field Maps Designer and am now wanting to edit them in Map Viewer?
I would get that error if I was working in a new map or opening a form that I had created using the Field Maps Designer.
I was able to log onto a virtual machine and save the form, so it looks like something that's going on with my machine, not the account settings for ArcGIS Online.
